The Spring Break Mission team has arrived safely in McAllen, Texas!
Thank you so much for all your prayers for safe and timely travels. Our flights were on time, and every team member arrived along with the checked luggage that had all of the goodies for the people of La Colonia!
Bruce and Paula greeted us upon our arrival, and twenty minutes later we were at their home getting settled in. The team was treated with a wonderful dinner and got to hear Bruce and Paula's journey and their story of how God called them to the mission field.We learned more about the community we will be spending the week with, and then got to work packing up rice and beans.
Tomorrow is church in Mexico and food distribution day!
Please pray for a good night's rest, safety, and open hearts and minds for tomorrow as we head out onto the mission field!
